A Kids Play Tent is more than just another play tent, it is an opportunity!

We all know children are creative and it doesn’t really matter what they are playing but as long as they are engaged and having fun, we as parents are happy. We are even happier if we feel that what they are doing is teaching them something.

This past season I thought to help out with the cold weather and keep the kids from going stir crazy (or better yet me) I bought the kids a kids play tent called a Pirate Hide-Away from The Tent Depot.com. It did not take long for the adventure to begin.

I soon discovered that our great room had transformed into the Great Seas. My boys faced harsh winds, longs days in the sun and of course they had to fight to protect their ship from other pirates. They made eye patches, put bandanas on their heads and made swords out of cardboard, not to mention their attempts to speak just like a pirate. Read more…
