Tenerife Resolves To Reinvent Itself

It’s almost as if Tenerife designed the model of mass tourism. Each year millions of visitors came to the island to take advantage of its year-round warm weather and low cost holiday options. During the 1990’s significant levels of foreign investment was poured into the island and whole resorts sprang up quickly to cater for the demands of increasing tourist volumes. By 2001 over 10 million people were coming to the Canary Islands, almost all of them arriving by air. This created the need for larger more modern airports and new terminals buildings were built. Everyone likes going to Las Vegas, wheather it be for the site seeing or you have a few extra bucks in your pocket and your feeling lucky.

I’ve been to Vegas many times myself and usually stay on the main strip, but this last time we decided to stay downtown. And I have to be honest, I had one of the best times of my life.
