Bhalessa Tourism needs fleeting attention

Bhalessa tourism needs attention

If the necessary tourism infrastructure is put in place in Bhalessa, there is ample scope to get the average tourist to consider staying back for as long as a fortnight; which would bring significant revenue for the area.
There is enough potential to hold back the tourist in Bhalessa and areas around for at least a fortnight. Imagine how much good it could do to the local economy. Places of pilgrimage if promoted will help bring the tourist to these areas even while the infrastructure is being developed.

Of course a Tourism Development Authority would have to be established.
Bhalessa presents a beautiful picturesque as well as attractive field on the way to Padri Top which could be promoted as a health resort as well as a picnic spot. This is the conncetion line between Bhalessa and Bhaderwah. An everlasting glacier, Bal Padri is just 15Km from Padri Top/Dhaar/Khanni Top on foot/horse back from the Bhaderwah side. Read more…

The Legacy of the Romans and Your Holiday

Some of the Roman’s methods were quite unsavoury, with brutal treatment of slaves and merciless invasions of foreign lands amongst their acts. But most people would quote other facets of Roman lifestyle when recalling their impact on the world. A new type of civilisation and culture has left us with some magnificent sporting arenas and theatres. Their engineering skills created road networks and town layouts largely unfamiliar to the countries they chose to rule over.

The Romans also set new standards in terms of accommodation, diet, clothing and personal hygiene. There systems of food cultivation and transport logistics were radical, allowing huge cities to benefit from the supply fresh vegetables, although the farming methods required for the provision of ample supplies of fresh meat and fish had yet to be developed. Destination Costa Blanca

The Costa Blanca is around a 200 kilometre stretch of coastline in the South East area of Spain. A very popular and well known part of this coastline is Alicante. The area receives, on average, 300 days of sunshine a year. The climate is very pleasant without the wet winters as received on the Costa Brava but feeling less humid than the Costa Del Sol. The area has a large English population both permanent and tourists.

The Costa Blanca has some highly developed areas as a great deal of the east and southern coastline in Spain. In recent years, a cap has been put on some of the areas to stop any further development and there are still some small fishing villages that have retained their original features such as the pretty Villajoyosa. The opposite being Benidorm which has its infamous high rise apartment blocks and the high number of UK tourists and residents. Read more…

What to expect from holidays in Greece

With the choice of basing yourself on the historic mainland or on one of the multitude of spectacular islands on offer, you are sure to easily find the perfect place to spend your holidays in Greece. There are in fact over 70 islands with at least 100 people living on them, so whether you want a really quiet retreat or a big and brash lively resort the possibilities are endless. No matter where you end up, the summer season which runs mainly between May and October in Greece will usually ensure that you will be able to enjoy a hot and dry holiday.

It is not recommended though to travel in the winter months if you’re in search of the sunshine because the temperatures are very likely to plummet. Many ferry services are available between the islands, meaning that it’s straight forward hopping from island to island if you fancy exploring still further. Read more…

Top Ten Car Rental Tips

Top 10 Car Rental Tips

Remember when people rented cars mainly for the purpose of vacation transportation? These days, things have changed. The car rental industry has grown by leaps and bounds; the most current estimates available (for 2008) put annual car rental revenue at a whopping $21.9 billion. Airport rentals have historically been the main revenue driver, but that segment has remained virtually flat over the past decade and a half; the industry’s growth is due almost entirely to the explosion of the “home-city” rental market — renting from a neighborhood location.

Those renting from neighborhood locations do so for a host of reasons. Some need an extra-large truck for that move across town. Some need a comfy hauler for a cross-country family road trip or a weekend of furniture shopping. And others crave a glamorous high-end cruiser for a fun-filled night out.
