A number of employers offer free round-trip transportation from the point of hire and free room and board. This helps tremendously in saving money as your expenses will be virtually non-existent.

Many jobs are posted with the Alaska Job Service and on Alaska fishing jobs websites. A simple internet search for Alaska jobs will produce several results of hiring companies.

Although jobs are plentiful it can get tricky sometimes! It is best to have a list of hundreds of employment companies and Captains to increase your odds of getting a job.
